At Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers, donations and grants play a vital role in expanding the reach and impact of our conservation and community projects. With the support of changemakers like you, we’re able to grow citizen science initiatives, strengthen partnerships with local organisations, and deliver measurable outcomes for wildlife, people, and the planet. This page shares our current grant-funded projects, and opportunities to collaborate in shaping a more ethical, sustainable future.
Creative Ambassadors: Turn Your Creativity Into Conservation Impact
Our Creative Ambassadors help bring the Oceans 2 Earth story to life. Through photography, film, writing, and digital storytelling, they capture the impact of our projects and share authentic experiences with the world. These collaborators play a vital role in raising awareness, inspiring future volunteers, and showcasing the beauty of conservation in action. Whether behind a camera or on social media, our ambassadors amplify the voices of wildlife carers, conservationists, and volunteers, helping us extend our reach and deepen our impact.
Each year we open a limited number of subsidised volunteer places for passionate creators to join us as Creative Ambassadors. If you have skills in photography, videography, writing, or digital storytelling — and want to use your creativity to support ethical conservation — we’d love to hear from you. Apply today for the chance to join our network of storytellers making an impact for wildlife, communities, and the planet.

In 2019 Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers developed a goal to provide Education Support to volunteers.
The LEARN Grant Program is the first step in this new initiative.
The objectives of the LEARN grant program are:
Provide financial support to allow an educational, meaningful volunteer experience
Encourage the development of knowledge about animal/marine conservation
Â
The intended outcomes of the program are:
Cultural education through experiential travel
Conservation education through hands on volunteer work at an O2E project
A classroom without walls
For this grant opportunity, $2,000 is available for use to subsidise participation in an O2E program.
The successful candidate is required to contribute the remaining expenses towards the volunteer activities including airfares, travel insurance, vaccinations and other items or activities.
